The Letter

Dear Son,

I know your grown and your adult life you have begun,
I just wish you could stay little for a while longer
I have so many things to share with you like
watching the setting sun,
I just want you to know day by day my love
for you grows stronger.

I know you can make it because we gave you the right tools
I just hate to let you go, the world is a scary place.
Look at you,on your own working like a man ,Taking responoseabilty for yourself, paving your own way
in this rat race.

I am now the proud mother of 2 adult children and
2 teenage boys,
I just thank God everyday that you are capabel
to make your own way.
I can never express all the emotions you have brought
to us, sorrows and joy
But I can tell you this you are in my thoughts,
prayers and heart each and every moment of the day.

Love Mom

    BEAUTIFUL POEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Kathy, I can feel the love you have for your son and the anxiety you feel about missing him and worrying about him. Yet I sense how proud you are. Take care. Many Blessings to you and your family. We all go through that. Moms always worry. Take care, Sandy

      Thanks Patty,
I always love hearing from you, but there are times one wonders how skilled we realy are at the art of parenting. And if he is a success,(and he will be) it will only be in part due to his parents, all we can do is teach them what we know. They have to have enough sense to use what they know, and the wisdom to know right from wrong, and care enough to do the right thing. All we can do know is pray.
