Acceptance of a spirit

Kettle sweltering in my bed,
Nighttime sky turns blue too red.
Stomach jangles trying to sleep,
Cockroaches neither food nor do they creep.

Accepted the spirit I did

Pray to the Lord peepers begin to close,
Affectionate blankets to my nose.
Ticking clock a loud midnight,
Stars to night burn so bright.

Accepted that spirit in Fiji old me I rid

Movement shows one standing near the bathroom door,
Bed moves although bolted to the floor.
From my bedroom to the kitchen too,
Quivering a little then, what impairment can they do?

Accepted that spirit years ago

Reminiscences of Fiji are increasingly consequently strong,
Happy, distressing to political erroneous it pong.
Obligated to inscribe what they tell me,
It’s the only way to sense and see.

Accepted that spirit life began to grow.

Art to be completed with these sessions of rhyme,
Not in a rush all acquires time.
A blessing, enlighten of families that are sick,
If I could give Doctor the flick.

Accepted that spirit gave my heart

Candles and mirrors collapse to some appalling bad luck,
To my mum she had to duck.
Never did like the blessing that orate all not well,
Bestow on me odd feelings who do I tell?

Accepted that spirit my born day start

After an agitated night I awaken to sleep,
Alarm with a pulsating squeaky peep.
Accepted that spirit into my mind,
Agreement with Christ Jesus I had to bind.

Beautiful write. I'm not a religious person, but more spiritual, yet I liked this piece a lot. I think when we accept something in our lives whether it be a God or spirit or maybe a friend or family member or even something about ourselves, we can find a peace within our heart and soul. Anyway, great write. Keep writing.

Incredible write Steve!!! It has so much to think about living within it and makes one stop in their tacks to really wonder of things. The way you allow the reader to feel they are trapped in a night time nightmare is great!! In the end, Jesus is always the answer.

Precise, precocious, and penetrating. This poem is unsually cool. I like it a lot. thanks for sharing such words and thought with me.
Very deep poem and arising a lot of further thoughts-thats what poetry should do-ask and give the reader a chance to think about his life and perhaps find an answer-this poem does what it promises-great job. this was very enlightening. This is an exceptionally well-written with wonderful flow that adds greatly to the power of your words. I wish i could in my own words tell you how great this piece is without having to borrow from others. What an intricate piece, if it doesn't get you to stop and think, and be a little philosophical, then i think you missed the point.
