wow...i envision an old balck and white Bette Davis movie...you have done well with your words on this one..capturing heartfelt emotion, dripped in sadness but knowing she must go through it...awesome job !!!

Wow Soulful Woman, Your poem is very heartfelt. Speaks of a broken heart that hopes to mend by the piano music. Music does make our minds wander back to the happier times.

How the plaintive notes on a piano can bring about sadness and longing in a person, especially one missing someone so much. I wish I had kept up my practice for I still love to hear the piano played and you are right we do keep going back to hear the pianoman. Lovely.
