Thanksgiving

Today we give thanks, for all we have conceived

To family and friends, and good health we've received

 

The table is decorated, with trimmings galore

It's set for a feast, should we ask for more

 

We have turkey and gravy, potatoes, salad and more

Everyone is excited, just like years before

 

Thanks to our troops, and their families too

For their time and devotion, they spent for me and you

 

Thanks to our families, we love and hold dear

Some are so very far away, while some are so near

 

Thanks to our friends, to us they abide

to accept us no matter, and stay by our side

 

Thank God for our health, be happy we're here

Others are worse off, we pray for their fear

 

Have a Happy Thanksgiving, enjoy your day

Smile and think of others, that's my way

    This is realy a beautiful write a display of Heartfelt thankfulness
    I liked the Poem itself it was so well written the rhyme was excellent and the flow was really smooth and easy to read.
    I also liked the style.
