You have her, and I have him,
yet we came together one night.
We know that this can never be,
but it's nice to not have to fight.
You make me feel like I am alive,
I've never laughed so much.
You make me forget I hate my life,
whenever I feel your touch.
I wish it had only been once,
then I wouldn't feel this ache.
Knowing we can never be together,
it's more than I can take.
We have eachother on borrowed time,
your hers and I am his.
If we could have met in another life,
it wouldn't have to be like this.
I know someday you'll marry her,
but I don't know what I will do.
I guess I'll sit here and dry my eyes,
and try to forget about you.
