waking (short stanza)

To dream about waking,
And while waking, to dream,
I dream about the difference
that waking would mean…

If I could only wake to render what is currently my reality a dream, and from there create a new life which I would spend every moment enjoying... this stanza gives me that hope, the freedom to think, dream, create. I feel the stanza pulling me toward some gravitational field, I just don't have a clue where I'm going right now. I will let you know if anything comes of this static energy that currently grabs at me. (I've never done a collaboration; this might be interesting.)

    to dream in awakened states
    jolts thoughts out of the deep;
this magic my fertile mind creates
    ...forsaking the benefit of sleep

I hope you have been well.

    Many blessings,

    Raven Aurora

By the twisting and interweaving of wakefulness to dreaming is lovely even as it is now, Sau...There feels an acute awareness of reality, yet to daydream a fantasy by my read of this poem.

Been a while since I caught up with you and hope all's been well.

    'Cause thats all I can-
    wonder 'bout waking
    Its a yearning to live
    Will I be ever reaching?

    to give up the dream
    to find reality too cold
    lose the comforting warmth
    of our inner thoughts

    or

    to make of a dream
    the day of tomorrow
    to touch our wishes
    be happy we're finally awake
    to have it all

    Thought provoking

    I think that I'm wakeful,
    then find I'm asleep!
    The dream is engrossing,
    unconsciousness deep.
    The dreaming is watched
    by the soul of the sleeper;
    as the dream becomes better,
    the sleep settles deeper.

    Exquisite....

Just as it is... a doorway to the thought of that journey to Light...

    To find upon awakening,
    How amazing it does seem,
The things I see nowI'm awake
Are the same as in my dream...

Just seen from eyes now awake,
    With all their meaning clear...
    Dreamiing or awakening
    The Truth is ever Here

Be ever bright, young wondrous light!

    Rod

yeah Rod... it is only until the truth eludes vision that we isee an illusion. after that, there's nothing, and ... everything.

        Carrying water, chopping wood...

The old oriental proverb...before enlightenment (awakening) and afteer enlightenment... How "things" look doesn't change, just the knowing of what they are changes. Like seeing the seed that came from a flower that came from a seed that came from.... when you view an exquisite rose...perceiving the Whole in the part... the part "in the midst" of the Whole...

Be ever blessed and bright, Rod
