All alone, lost in the mind
With thoughts too hard to explain
Losing time, you’ll never find
It passed just like the pain
Knowing you better than anyone else
Are those voices that you hear
When you find out who they are
Only then, they’ll disappear
Not confiding in anyone
Letting all confide in you
Scared of what they’ll think and say
Not knowing what to do
The pages that you fill at night
Are the only help you get
Besides those tears you cry at night
Which get them papers wet
You’re very understanding
You know what life’s about
You try to find out who you are
But, haven’t yet figured it out
Instead of getting bent out of shape
You decide to go with the flow
Not knowing where you’re heading
However, knowing time will show
Making the best with what you have
Taking it day by day
Helps you make the most of it
To laugh at your own dismay
Learning how to overcome
A hole that’s full with sadness
Will take longer than you think
But, slowly you’ll progress
The power used to test you
Is a force not all may know
It’s a hole called deep depression
That doesn’t want to let you go
Once your soul is captive
And It has you deep within
That’s when it is the hardest
To overcome and win
It breathes in all your strength
Making you feeble and careless
With your reality unstable
You view life’s meaning as less
Finally, down to nothing
Only one thing to have done
That’s to leave behind a carcass
For the hole, it has won

Good write, next time I would add a backround that matches the text. That would really set the mood.

One small comment and that is you should consider breaking this poem into stanzas as this will enhance the poem and make it seem less overwhelming to the eye to read.

Wow, this is so full of emotion, it's an amazing write! I dearly hope that you don't feel like this though, because I know what depression's like and it's definitelly hard to fight off. If you ever want to talk, I am here for you! This is an amazing write! Well done!
