Hold Her (Together)

Where lies a helpless, fragile figure,
Glowing pale in the setting sun,
Nearly white, she glints like snowdrops,
Cold as frost, her heart undone.

No love could still be left inside
The empty cavern, her throbbing chest,
The gentle pout that frames her lips
Betray the hollow pain that's left.

Faint outline of a delicate child,
A withered petal, a dropping bloom,
Silence shrouds the cries unheard
From battered wounds that bleed too soon.

To stop the gentle ebb of life,
A feat for none too faint of heart!
Please feed her soul with warmth and care
Before the pieces fall apart...

Please tell me what you think

Oww, well this hurts. the feelings of emptiness and sorrow permeate the line, dripping helplessly to the ground. You need a hug, heck, you need lots of hugs, continuously and with great affection. I am so sorry if this is the state of your heart. I think line five may need some love too...i hope you are doing better than when you penned this.

    blessings and best wishes, ~r.

    and here, have a hug.....
