What Is God

God is,that I Am that I AM
ask not the question who,but what is God
God is that I Am that I AM
Look not to the stars and havens for God
God is the begining to all things,and to
all things the begining.
God is that shadow darkness cannot hide
That spirit voice we hear,always near.
We condition ourself to look toward the
havens for God when we pray,Pray not to
the havens for thy god ye seek, look around
you,do you not see the God you seek.



Author notes

People look up when they pray,thinking God is above. I guess that's the reason people act so badly, because they think God aint looking. God is forever watching,wondering just what you're looking at. Look around you.what you see is God's work,and God's still working. Do you not see the GOD you seek. God is never untouchable,nor unreasonable.

    Outstanding. I loved reading through this. And I agree, so many people pray to the heavens, when all they need to do is look around. Yes, there is destruction and pain, but sometimes change your point of view, and there is endless beauty. Thank you for sharing this lovely poem.
