It begins with a dream
as I breathe into life,
of a vision of radiant color
Trembling I stand
with lips amute
before a sacred splendor
Unfolding of my dream,
the brightness of their eyes,
becomes my rapturous delight.
My heart opens wide, emotions unfold
I can't hold back ,this seething
storm of my soul.
The climax of my dream,
I rush forth to embrace
the passion of their heart
Coming to understanding
beyond all words,
what it means to love another
Dream fades...
and the panic sets in,
I 've lost sight things are now...dark
And then,
I woke up, to find myself
where I began, lying in his arms
