The world's eyes look upon me
And see a strength beyond theirs.
They see someone to be like
With an attitude that dares
To break the rules and be happy
In the face of adversity.
They couldn't do it, they think;
They all look up to me.
What they don't know is by night, I'm weak;
I cry and I am scared.
I feel alone and abandoned,
As though nobody cared.
I face today with bravery;
Confront the test ahead,
Knowing the knowledge gained today
Will be escourted by dread.
The thought of knowing makes me weep;
'Though I must know
All the same.
But I've endured this hurt before
And I can stand the pain.

I'm not sure if you are writing from personal experiences, but I want to tell you God only gives you what you can handle and you ALWAYS become stonger for going thru the fight. Face each day with confidence and know that God is always with you. Take each day as a learning experience and learn how to do it better. Others might look up to you, but doesn't mean anything until you can look UP within yourself.
