I'm sitting in the ferris wheel
All by my lonesome self
I get off feeling down
I trip over my untied shoelace
With dirt in my hair
Grass stain on my jeans
One boy stops to help me up
This one boy whose name I don't know
Said, hey are you alright
I said in a rush
Oh yes, I'm fine
And then
He asked me
Would you like to take a ride on the ferris wheel
Wow! I've never been invited on the ferris wheel, with a boy before
So I said sure!
So we got aboard
And then it happened
He leaned over
put his arm around me
AND PUSHED ME OFF THE FERRIS WHEEL!

Did he wait till you were at the very top?
I like this one. It sounds like a dream I might have. Well done.

hahahahahahaha...
You just seemed so outraged in that last line... like the whole time, you were casually recalling this great event that happened, and we all wait for the punch line...
I just had this image of someone standing in one of those circles that develop in parties, telling people about a bad day you had... "Can you believe it? This guy just reached over and pushed me off!!"
The poem was great. Hope you accomplished in your writing what you set out to share. -
Boy I hate when that happens! and then it happened he leaned over...Now I was expecting a kiss like in the picture... and pow he PUSHES you off! I think you should learn to control those dreams alittle better than that. Liked the surpise ending, thanks for entering. Great write
