I hear the wail from the bedroom,
a tiny cry that i love,
and a rough snore that i adore,
as i pull back the covers,
i feel a big hand on my side,
I hear a sleepy voice say,
baby bring him in here with us,
smiling i kissed his cheeck,
and headed for the bedroom,
I held my baby gently,
as I wiped away all his tears,
genlty rocking him i walked out,
my robe drifting behind me,
I took the bottle from the fridge,
humming quietly to myself,
I walked back to my bedroom,
i stood at my door watching him,
With my baby in my arms,
and with a huge smile on my face,
I walked over to the bed,
my baby drinking eagerly,
started closing his big eyes,
just as my husbands opened,
he carefully moved our baby,
closer to his wide broad chest,
until he lay against him,
I slowly scooted toward them,
with our legs tangled together,
and our hands locked,
with love circleing all of us,
we slowley fell asleep,
to dream of more happy days.
