Dreams of True Love

It's taking me some time, to learn how to unwind,
to love all over again, gettin rid of some things ...deep within
Some things that are dark...right here...
in my heart
I fell weak...with defeat...
hoping and praying...as I weeped
I know that I show, more than anyone will ever know
the things that I feel...has to go
I don't try to hurt anyone...this person I love,
with a kind heart...gentle as a dove
I refuse to die inside, now I realize
that there is nothing that I can hide...
I often dream of how things could be...
When you were really in love with me...
I had to give it up, so that I could grow...
Being taught things, that I didn't even know
I'm not ashamed to say,
when I wake up...
this is the day
To stand before God...as I pray
That he renew my mind, create a clean spirit within me...
Heal my heart and soul...so that I can see...clearly on how things should be...
I have been hurt, but I remained strong
Looking ahead... after knowing what went wrong
Nothing in life remains the same
If you call on God...repenting in his son's name
Today is the beginning of my new life,
No more weapons formed against me....
no more love lost, and no more stife!
He has not only made me a new creature in his sight,
he has created me...to be
a brand new WIFE
I apologize for everything that I have done,
I know, now how to stand...and not run
Standing for what God has for me...
not being afraid of man...
but afraid of thee...
God has washed me clean, from my past...
letting me know that this time
True Love...is sure to last

    This is really good Great job! Sorry to say I don't really believe the whole god can do everything thing but this is still an excllent poem!
