There are those that truly think, love is only in the mind.
Others think that love, only leaves us to be blind.
Some think love is only, physical in state.
Others think that love, comes by staying out too late.
Some think that love, will always come and go.
Others think it depends, upon who it is you know.
I believe that love, can be strong to the core.
It’s a constant battle, something you fight for.
It is a war everyday, you have to fight to win.
The rewards that you get, are released from within.
You will meet many soldiers, who will enter this war.
But when the battle starts, they leave thru the door.
One day the right soldier, you will finally meet.
He will swoop right in, and sweep you off your feet.
Things will be great, you will walk on the clouds.
You won’t even realize, you are being kind of loud.
Then the battle comes, trouble begins to start.
This man will battle hard, deep within his heart.
He will fight for his love, until this battles won.
His friends will say it’s over, that he is done.
He will not listen to them, his love he will not yield.
He will fight hard to win, on loves harsh battle field.
He knows in his heart, no prisoners he can take.
If he gave up now, it would truly be a mistake.
Many will join this battle, trying now and then.
But look for the soldier, that’s true love, my friend!

These central stanzas are the most powerful in the poem. They make your point about how you feel about love, and they also reveal your longing for true love. Wether or not you have found your true love I do not know, but I hope that you are lucky in love, for to be able to write about love in this way is to understand it, and therefore you deserve it.
