Winter Love

Through the summer I was cold
Then autumn started in
And I began to feel her absence
Play across my skin

As winter turned the corner
This fire burned me numb
And now so far away
I could see clearly what went wrong

I fallowed those footsteps in the snow
And they lead back through the sand
And I traveled through the deserts
To what seemed like distant lands

I watched a stranger play
That stranger that stole my name
And I watched all his mistakes
The ones they claimed I made

As I watched last year rewind
I watched every single day
I reheard every single word
But all in a different way

And though I watched it all
Through so many points of view
I couldn’t change a single thing
There was nothing I could do

As it all finally ended
The post four seasons flashed me by
I hung my weary head
As the snow feel form the sky

As the snow filled the air
And settled on the ground
I raised my tiered eyes
And was relived at what I’d found

There I saw you dancing
As if it was just a dream
The beauty of the winter
Was re-instilled in me

You where spinning in the flurry
Your stunning beauty caught my eye
Now another winter love begins
This time I’ll not let it pass me by

Please tell me what you think

    Awesome!

WOW!!! This is probably my favorite one you've written. There's a lot of emotion in this, and the word choice was perfect. The ending was very beautiful.

Hey, and now that you can play guitar, you can write songs to your poems! Wooot.
