When the Sun and Moon engage in an elegant fray
and seine like two desirous isles, I shall cry...
The phoenix, with skin and claws of brazen beacon flames,
arises and flurries the innocent skies with His spangling arrows...
The Moon calls upon the Sea, the Daughter of Her Will...
The two Maestras soar back across the whipping clouds and undermine the Sun.
I stand and watch as the two forces leech and assault each other,
and befoul the air with their immemorial conflicts.
Then as the battle rages, and the Earth awaits in sweet, abaited silence,
I command "Stop this madness!", and the warring billows peel away like grey leaves.
