The lonely rose
Out on the square
Tainted and crimson
Beauty un-sheathed
Glowing and radiant
Dulling the sun
Marvel in solace
St Valentine
As the honeybees flock
Their army approaches
Love struck conviction
Friendship forsaken
Brothers betrayed
The suns gentle touch
No longer warming
The brush of the breeze
Like sandpaper upon my cheek
Only my lonely rose
Will sate my lust
For I am trapped
Lost for all of eternity
To weep alone
With my lonely rose
