Fire Speaks My Name

memories of fire
translucent images of a past
burnt to ash
created on a savage beauty
of decaying, rotting inoccence
incinerating my flesh
in the hot blazes of forgotten truths
I burn
lost in something I can't remember
as I fade
I disappear in the voices
calling a name
that sounds so familiar
but all I see
is shades of red, orange and yellow
and the smoke consumes me
until the darkness
claims my name

Man, that is a really good poem. Dark but pretty. I really like the way it flows continuoisly. You are an excellent writer. Keep doing what you're doing and I look forward to reading more of your work in the future.
