Hate was turning his home into a place of pain.
Ate some of her dinner through clenched teeth as a car rolled away outside
Today was the day he would ask her about his friend the cable guy.
Everything she said made him angry his marriage was over.
Pain he felt after the woman of his dreams slept with his best friend.
Agony and hate mixed up in his heart.
Inside he knew it over long ago.
Night had fallen maybe it’s time to take a long walk.
Murder was all that was on his mind.
Under the ground, were he was going to burry his friend.
Reach out from the bushes and slide the blade across his neck.
Death would have to come quickly and silently.
Everything was perfect and he would together with his new love.
Revenge is something dead men just don’t do.
Death comes swiftly as the knife lands in his neck.
Everything around him becomes dark for him and he gasps for air.
All of the people around him don’t seem to care.
The world is a cruel place to be when a man dies so young.
Hell awaits all who do the acts of God.

This was good. I liked the emotions you presented and your storyline. The rhythm was good.
Thank you for entering,

Twisted
This is a regular story about adulterers and has a surprising twist and the end. I didn't expect the wronged husband to die and Hell is awaiting him. Seems a bit harsh, but the so is murder. This, to me, is more prose than poetry. It has an effective message for those who are religiously inclined. Best wishes in the contest.
