I think if a rooster laid an egg on the roof
It could only go left
For on the map it is the most common direction
Used to represent the west
And as we all know, and can’t deny
Roosters like the sun, it’s a sure bet,
And what better direction for an egg to roll,
Than towards the sunset?
You may say, well what if the egg is a girl
Don’t wonder, it’s a guy!
For what girl would have the lack of sense,
To be born so high in the sky?
So, well yes, the egg would roll left,
It would defiantly be a boy
And that old rooster would have a chick at last
Well Red, I wish you joy!
But as for this question, it’s plainly silly
Thought up by some dumb lout,
For if your rooster is laying eggs at all,
You’ve bigger things to worry about
