(The judge of man)
Go ahead and judge me
Slam your gavel down
Ridicule and snub me
From your higher moral ground
Label me a sinner
Maybe a killer or a whore
Condemn me knowing nothing
Of the agony I bore
Conclude that I'm immoral
A lost soul that must atone
And in you infinite wisdom
Cast off that first stone
Criticize my lifestyle
And the choices that I make
Pave your worldly judgment
Across every path I take
Denunciate my faith
Mock what I hold true
Question my conviction
Cause' it's not your point of view
Presume that I am wrong
Before I even speak
And even though I'm strong
Assume that I am weak
Belittle my demeanor
With that fire in you eye
As you use the words of prayer
To form your battle cry
Then bring your war upon me
Cast me to the flames
And as both judge and jury
Condemn me in His name
Yes take it upon yourself
To be the judge of man
As you snub you nose
To all of those
You think you're better than
But as a self appointed expert
Of all that's pure and true
I wonder, do you ever wonder
Just who's judging you?
