Poured Into Womanhood

Missing image
My inevitable being
slowly submerging into
the corridor of life

Covered in a shroud
of sheer virginity,
seeking truth, as
my journey resonates to
the hum of the universe

My white cocoon,
pure and innocent,
free from demons

The nourishing milk of life
manifests a Woman

Such a lovely poem describing the essence of woman. I especially liked the last two lines, "The nourishing milk of life manifests a Woman".

I think this one should have won a trophy for the honesty and virginalness of it, LOL, if in fact there is a word virginalness, lol, I really don't think that is a word.

In being so fond of the love and life that is woman I so naturally felt a dear draw to this write. Especially in the ending stanza.

I am a big fan of ending a poem on just the right note. You indeed struck that note very well with me.

This is so good. The picture and the words flow so well together. And that finish...well it is simply magnificent! Good luck here in this contest.

A very interesting view taken here, one that shows a different light on the subject matter, the journey from birth to the life we lead is our making. well done and thanks for entering.

    Very, very imaginative

I can see it! I can feel it. I can see it and feel it. I don't want to stop. I can feel it and see it... *sigh*
