We Are

bourn to live
live to love
love to hurt
hurt to know
know to heal
heal to live on
live on to die
die to be rebourn

And from there we are to grow

grow to live
live to learn
learn to know
know to forget
so that we may heal
heal to once again feel
we feel to suffer
suffer as to hate
to hate is to have passion
passion is to have love

to know love is to know fear
in fear lies courage

have the courage to experiance these things.

Good write that shows great promise and is said with much feeling. We are all of the things listed and more and this poem is well worthy of my applause.

    Insightful

I ablsoutely love the flow and presentation of this piece!!! I really have a great affinity to the themes in the poem. For me, the poem is soothing and hopeful. My favorite part is the expression of human nature. Great work!

    full circle of emotions

wow, you covered in just a few words the broad sprectrum of human life...I enjoyed this, though it did not really make me think of reincarnation, but rather just the day in and day out life that one can either be a part of or just watch as the days go by. The ending was nice, a message in poetry
    take care

      thank you once more :D

actualy the poem it self has nothing to do with reincarnation so much as the thought that with each day and new experiance we become a different person there fore haveing our former selvs more or less die.
