You think you're so clever,
to jump through hoops,
only when they're
a foot above the ground.
You'll only dive
when you know the depths.
You'll climb the castle,
if there's a ladder.
And you're so clever,
because I've "Ooh'd"
and "Ahhh'd"
like a mindless fool.
You bring chocolate and roses
on the wrong holiday.
And you're not so clever,
when the 'Welcome' mat is gone
and there's a locked door.
