Tender touches reach my mind.
These lungs, clench to oxygen. My only desperate moment captured in words.
Forever, engraved by the tears on my pillow.
On dark roads, in the middle of the afternoon
you can find empty water bottles, lying about their contents.
Liquor lies under every sink
a simple sin I indulge in.
But in child eyes you can always forgive
discovering the colors behind the whitened clouds.
And even though words escape me
my lips have no trouble
mouthing the words: “I love this lust.”
It’s kind of my identity these days.
Now look up to the heavens
just to notice, you can never know everything.
Even when you do, there’s still a mystery under your own soul.

Beautiful!
this is absolutely beautiful...and i can really relate to it. I loved the description and the lines "Now look up to the heavens
just to notice, you can never know everything.
Even when you do, there’s still a mystery under your own soul"
I couldnt agree more!
