The Day The World Fell Apart

The stars thundered above,
the ground shook below.
The world inbetween fell apart.
The stars crashed and fell into
brilliant pieces of
fiery curiosity, burning with desire.
Desires are never quenched with the first drink.
The burning embers of the
heavenly stars fell into the sea.
Miracle!
Their brothers and sisters cried.
For the light of the fallen
did not dim nor douse.
Even the fallen have hidden strength.
Miracle!
Cried their mothers and fathers.
The stars, the fallen,
the underestimated,
crawled out from the sea,
shaken, but unbroken.
Welcome home, called the sky
with open arms.
And the pieces of heaven
settled back into place,
to watch over us.

Author notes

Even the strong fall every once in a while. The trick is to get back up, and keep moving. We will praise you and support you. I believe that writers should never stop writing. If your soul asks you to write, write. Sure, writers block comes into play sometimes. But your writing energy will never die out. Just get back up & keep moving. Find your place back up in that big, bright sky =].

Beautiful poem and wise authors notes. Everyone gets writers block sometimes. When I do I just take a day or two off then usually come back with a vengeance.
