Scene and Not Herd

misery is this years latest trend.
acoustic heartbreak and
screen names with hearts and stars.
we're no longer interested in ink.
listening to the same song by different artists.
this chord, discord.

androgeny is this years latest trend.
with boys who wear girls clothes
and pose. and pose. and pose.
lets fall in love over MSN and kiss with an
open bracket K close bracket.

ignorance is this years latest trend.
but no longer is it bliss.
quote unquote.
everyone is a copywrite.
you dress that way, i'll copy.
right?

-these lines were unique & the poem made me laugh at how funny humans are..anyway, the title was also very eye-catching

how true "same song different artist" well said. So individualism is just a game to see who will notice its falseness first? I think that this is close to brilliant.

Pop culture on a q-tip. I stay objective and absolutly segregated from it. But from being involved in the music industry you never really stop seeing the grandois trends making their mark. Really I think it's hillarious to see the music scene evolve from Conformist lifestyles to Proindividualism, but really no happy middle grounds. Great poem, witty and intellegent, although maybe has a slightly concieted overtone (which actually fails in comparison to the music "scene"). It's always been that way, and however "individualistic" a scene seems to get, it's usually all together predictable. Great none the less!
