To you my special Valentine,
upon this day for love.
Sent to me by Heaven's Angels,
that gaze down from above.
Such mystic emotions I feel,
when held in your embrace.
I long again to see the sun,
light your beautiful face.
As the sun rises in the morn,
I lay and gaze at you.
As gentle, sweet, loving kisses.
touch you like drops of dew.
Celebration of each other,
your hair my fingers muss.
This day for us to escape from,
all that life throws at us.
The stars now shine down upon us,
moons soft glow caresses.
Their light shows me all the magic,
that your soul possesses.
My heart soars aloft with these thoughts,
of you I dream to see.
Complete in my arms together,
fusion in harmony.
So from me to you I do say,
my heart to you I send.
Be my valentine, my girlfriend,
my lover ~ we transcend!

Congratulations on winning a silver with this in another contest. It flows pretty well and was easily understood.
Thanks for entering it in my contest too. -
After all that horribly difficult judging, you did well to get silver! VWD!

Quick question, is muss really a word? Nothing negative from me if it isn't! Very nice form, rhymes and flow.... other than send-trancends... not really a perfect rhyme. Your use of punctuation fits my requirements, and though a simple ABCB rhyme scheme, it is still very much accepted

thank you for entering with this very sweet and loving write, good luck with the person in question and in the contest

Soooooooo Beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!
Dave, This is a beautiful poem you have written for your special lady in your life. The excellent verbiage gave it wonderful imagery and the rhythm and rhyme made it flow so soft and sweet. I'm sure that she loved this poem for her. You captured me with it from the beginning right down to the last word. Best wishes for both of you and in the contest. I will leave you with a standing ovation to go along with my applause. Kudos for you my friend. Love and God bless, Joyce

is the the valentines love or the special day that's send down from above by heavenly angels?
'gentle, sweet' & 'soars aloft' & 'complete in my arms' approaches cliche, watch out
V-day is hard to avoid cliches though
I like trancendance
