~ Tributes For Lionslove ~

Sweet Timothy

Lionslove,
a talented poet
and very dear friend to so many;
a beloved mentor who had a heart of gold,
his tenderness, something to behold.
He always had kind words
for poets
at every skill level,
he would challenge and encourage us
to stretch our writing skills outside our comfort zone,
at all times a perfect gentleman;
he’ll always be our dear
Lionslove.

Take Your Flight

1-2-3 Like the dove you fly,
'Cause you now own the most
Beautiful set of wings.
Now you can take your flight
Through the skies.

1-2-3 Like the moon light shining bright
That set of wings too,
Glittering bright
As you take flight.

Your halo, just as bright,
Lights your way
All the day and
Into the night.

Guiding your way
To ones you held dear.
Allowing them to know
That you are
Forever near.

1-2-3 Like the dove you fly
'Cause you now own the most
Beautiful set of wings.
Now you can take your flight
Through the skies.

1-2-3 Like the moon light shining  bright
That set of wings too,
Glittering bright
As you take flight.

Now you can fly
To those you love-
Those you hold dear,
Every day~

Saying Goodbye

They're cold, smooth,
deeply engraved,
these letters are what's left of you,
dates, message, and name.

While tracing the rough stone,
I cant help but think them wrong,
and that I'm not all alone,
forced to move on.

Especially if I don't touch the rock,
I can believe I'm not talking to air,
After all, the clock still tick tocks,
and you said you'd always be there.

Don't you hear it?
My heart loudly breaks,
while you're in a pit,
keeping up the charades.

Why don't you stop playing,
its making me cry,
doubts have begun shaping,
that you aren't alive.

But how can that be,
when you were just here with me,
and your seemed so happy,
that the evidence cant be believed.

So then, why am I here,
laying a flower on this sacred place,
remembering you in all my years,
feeling nothing but anger and pain.

I thought love conquered all,
so then why are things as others say they are,
me in living Hell, and you in deathly Heaven; the presence of this wall,
that keeps us so far apart?

No, I cant say or think it,
so soon the words impact,
the weight of knowledge I couldn't lift,
there's nothing left to do but turn my back.

It feels like your watching me,
as I leave that spot of land,
crying tears for the living,
the irony of man.

And, if you are really gone,
I love you; rest in peace,
I'll forever keep your memory strong,
until again we meet.

Tim, Our Friend

I had only just found you, one comment
Let me know that you were there
Given with thoughts only of my betterment
Did not even know that of me you were aware

Gentle thoughts, from your pen would flow
Giving hope, encouragement, and love
Your kindness to all you did bestow
Your spirit gentle as a dove.

Your many friends, will miss you so
Now that you have gone home
Your loss to all has been such a blow
No more will you have to roam.

We are here in shock
At the loss of one so dear,
Today on heavens shore you walk
Your heart is filled with cheer.

In the Arms of God you rest,
But we still miss you here,
Today we know that we were blessed
For you we’ll shed a tear.

Tim our friend well miss you so
Your light for us shone bright,
You, we were so blessed to know
You walk with God tonight.

My Dearest Lionslove...

You knew what was happening to you
Though you grew disheartened at times
You never stopped fighting,
You never stopped loving,
You poured out your entire heart
For everyone to see
You gave us
Smiles
Love
The warmth in our hearts

Even with your tumultuous, painful past,
You didn't stop living for a happier future.

*I can only hope
That one day
I'll be like you.
Put smiles on faces by my words
Be able to touch a million hearts with one poem
Provide hope for ones in need of it
Help people learn life lessons before it's too late
Fill lives with love
(A Lionslove...)
You were so amazing to me*

Much love forever and always,
And May You Rest In Peace

In Softer Sighs~

Just when I thought
my tears had run dry,
you leave me lost,

my muse struggling
to find the metaphor
to match the beauty in your eyes.

How do I capture
the beaming pride of your persona,
the sunshine in your smile
that melts the coldest of hearts,

the grandeur of the dreams
in your warrior spirit?

How do I begin to touch
the wisdom of your words,
the music in your step

that invites us to dance.

You would not want
these eyes filled with sorrow

Cover us with your gentle wings
to stop the aching
as you rest in softer sighs,

cares drifting away in gentle breezes
that called you home.

May you rest
in serenity's soothing embrace
until we meet again...

Paradise is painted
a little more beautiful

by the glow of your smile.

A Short While
We met for just a little while. We happen to meet by chance.

You left me with such a warm and inviting message. I wanted to

get to know you better. But the Master had decided that he

would call you for a bigger job.  A job I may not understand.

But it was great to know you for just a little while and now

listen to others give words of praise about you. They say

you were a wonderful guy. I'll think of this when I hear your

name.  For now, may you be at peace until one day we may meet.

My Silent Tears

My silent tears
fall down my face
as I recall the day
I met a lion so brave
with a heart of gold
his naughty side
his ever so silly messages

 My silent tears
fall down my face
as I remember
his wonderful ways
his caring heart
his daily struggles
his life not an easy one

 My silent tears
fall down my face
knowing I will never
hear his roar again
never a message will I see

 My silent tears
will fade and
be replaced with a smile
as his memory lives on
in each of us

Sleep Peacefully

Crimson red tears
Cascading over
My cheeks~

As today a final goodbye
Must be said.

You touched my life briefly~
Showered upon me
Courage and love
From afar~

With your words
That now I hold more dearly
Than before.

Never before, and no time
again soon-
Will anyone touch my life
Like you did.

A special place
Within my heart
Will forever remain yours.

When one day~
I return to those
Rose Gardens,

Know that I do so,
And walk along
With thoughts of you
Close in my heart.

I will forever
Carry your memory
Close in my heart.

Sleep peacefully now,
My Gentle Lion~
Sleep peacefully.

 Lionslove

Though you’ve left this earthly plain
You roam the heavens with our Lord
Walking with His hand upon your mane
Feasting in His wondrous protection

No thought you have for us here
Too much there to hold your thoughts
Surrounded by the heavenly stars
Walking on heavens shores

Praises flow from your mighty lips
Praises for the Lamb of God
He guides you through the wondrous halls
Showing you, a home He’s prepared for you

Lionslove patrolling heaven now
Walking with our Lord,
Can not say the words “wish you were here”
That would be too cruel

But listen closely Tim our friend
You’ll hear us whisper here
Even though friends surround us here
We wish that we were there.

If this is Timothy Arthur Johnson...

Then I want you all to know, he's not so perfect. All those horrible poems I have in my allpoetry, are about him. He took advantage of me.. in a very abusive and sexual way. I still go to counselling for it. I am sick and tired of seeing all this praise to Tim when really he doesn't deserve it. I've always wished I had told everyone before he passed away what had really happened to me, but I only did once he had passed away.

I want revenge. I am still suffering from the pain that has been done to me.

I just wish that I had the courage to say something back to him , to maybe protect myself from all of this pain that could have been avoided.

He really wasn't a nice man.

    Not at all.

Sorry to rain on your parade, but have any of you actually met this guy in person? No. Didn't think so.

I just .. always wanted to tell him how much that I hate him.

    Please don't delete this comment.

I believe the world should know, because it isn't fair to me. I was only 12 years old.

    R.I.P. Timothy Arthur Johnson.

Such wonderful memories we all have of him. I don't think anyone left anything out. He was just as all have spoken from their hearts. Lovely, lovely, lovely...I know he would cry a tear if he could read how everyone felt.

I miss Timothy But I know he is smiling at us from the heavens, like captivatedbyyourlove said. Gosh, I just love reading these poems.

All of you, keep up the killer work, take care, and keep on writing.
