Seared soul,
Tattered,
Fly ash on the wind,
Result of animosity’s fire.
Caustic residue,
Acidic,
Spreading sickness of the mind.
Love arrives,
Binds,
Gathers from afar.
Gently lays,
Kindling,
Igniting with a spark.
A cleansing fire,
Renewing,
As a Phoenix from it’s ashes.

This was certainly different. It was quite succinct, maybe too much so. I think it would have benefitted from a few more structural words as it seemed to be mostly adjectives. Thanks for entering this. I'm glad I got the chance to read it!
