It was a late winters’ day
The crocus were on display
Yellows, purple and reds
Raising early from their beds
Hardy floral things
Maybe we will have an early spring
The forecast calls for more snow
A nor’easter will start to blow
Looking through my window pane
Not having anything to complain
hearing the cracking of the fireplace
A glass of wine and a bit of cheese to taste
warm blanket tuck around me
snow already piled up to my knee
A beautiful winter wonderland
decorated by God’s hand
In a list

The crocus are such a brilliant splash of colour popping through the white snow. Such a beatiful sight. Good luck in our contest. Jeannie and James
