Charlie
Once long ago in a fable they say
The Elves watched the children both night and day
In A land called England that’s magical
And wee ones were very atypical
The wood elves were very strong
Dancing and playing with song
We need a child to be in our charge
Just a wee baby, not very large
So with a prayer… and a bit of magic dust
The heavens parted, a tremendous thrust
The woodlands shook and when the dust cleared
Just like a miracle, Charlie appeared
All the Elves cheered and shouted his name
Charlie the Prince, his throne be acclaimed
So now in the woods and all through the land
Charlie will rule with a gentle hand.

This was a delight. It really warms the heart to read.
