Open
with your soft kiss
orange scented letters,
they're for you, filled with fresh freesias'
petals.

Sweet Sonja. Enjoyed your words.

Wonderful to see a first time cinquain writer here - good for you!! This is a lovely poem - reminds of the time when we still sent letters to each other sealed with a kiss (swak). Of course this letter can also be the loved ones mouth... Just make sure of your syllable count in Line 4 - I count 7 instead of 8 (I will check that on the syllable counter as well). I think "freesia" is 2 syllables. Thank you for this entry and good luck in the contest. Hope you'll write many more cinquains.

When is comes to orange colored flowers I always had soft part in my heart. I feel that orange is such a soft lovely color.
Your words are so soft and caring.
