~~Peace and Love On Earth~~

Countries fighting, fires igniting
Children crying, people dying
A cry for help, a loss too many
A world falling apart
So many innocent lives buried
So many hopes and dreams shattered
A different religion, a different race
Why can’t we see the hurt on their face
We must take control of our actions today
Or the children of tomorrow
Will be the one’s to pay
We stop it now
It’s only the innocent
Who get hurt in the war
Together my friend
We must be heard
One voice, united stronger
By joining hands as one
Spreading the message
Of peace and love on earth

Excellent and very true. If we don't join our good forces to save this world and our people, all is lost. Thank you for your entry.

A very beautiful write on a subject that needs to be rectified but alas probably never will. How could we and still have free will? Well done. Keep them coming and blessed be.

I am constantly amazed that more people haven't taken to the streets to protest the tragedy and desecration of this war. And the European and American public have virtually ignored the genocide in Africa. I think your central point is very significant. One voice is lost in the wilderness, but if we organize into a larger, more powerful voice we can be heard. Utimately it is the voice of the people, not the politicians, who can save the world.

A very sad look at the way the world is. There can only be peace if they stop their fighting. God Bless You! Good Luck in the contest! My favorite part was:

So let us band together to stop the war

    Universally beautiful!!

Selamat sejahtera! First-rate poetry and fine allegories of almost an utopia world.. In my faith, God said: "i know the way of man is not in himself; it is not in man who walks to direct his own steps". So when i read/hear atrocies as conflicts of wars, famine, rapes, discrimination etc, what did man has proven since centuries in leading himself to a better world and garden of peace? We might be governed by untamed nature distinct in the practice of the elevation of the soul (otium). Remains the sacred spot is reserved for the initiated separated from everyday reality. The Paradise is not lost but the state of perfection has never returned since and many journeys are not the evidence to validate a condition of beatitude. Love and blessings xx
