a new years wish for you,
cause your voice tore the stillness,
as only your could do.

resolutions for the new year,
just a mark of passing time
but if it makes you smile,
then i know i did it right.

but your cold voice is all i hear,
i can't convince my self it's true,
screaming spells into my ear
tell me there's nothing i can do.

a constant thought to contemplate,
silent though we know we die,
with every lie we fabricate.

rip away the imagery,
if you find the colors dull,
ignore what the monsters convey,
on you everything is beautiful.
