If tomorrow never comes...

If tomorrow never comes, and all I had left was today...
I would tell you.
Not that I love you, but that I never even had the chance.
Too shy to say hello, and introduce myself.
Forfeiting my chance to get to know you,
To understand this strange attraction.
I would tell you.

If tomorrow never comes, and all I had left was today...
I would tell him.
Not that I pine for him with every waking minute, but that I may have loved him.
That I may still love him.
Although I was never allowed a chance for that love to flourish,
There was comfort, companionship, and laughter.
I would tell him.

If tomorrow never comes, and all I had left was today...
I would tell them.
Not that I needed them to be strong for me, but that they helped me through every
Ounce of depression I've felt.
Laughing on the kitchen floor in a heap,
Rolling around, sticking out our tongues.
They were my salvation. My one true pride.
I would tell them.

If tomorrow never comes, and all I had left was today...
I would tell you all.
Not that you're what caused me to cry myself to sleep,
But that I've always loved you regardless.
You weren't, couldn't always be there, but you came through.
And even when you didn't, I could never disown you.
Never could I leave you, fully hate you.
I had to love you.
I would tell you all.

If tomorrow never comes, and all I had left was today...
I would tell you.
My name is Julia. I wish I could've known you.
I would tell him.
There is still a place for him, always will.
I would tell them.
They will always be what I laugh at when I reminisce.
I would tell you all.
Even though at times I've hated you. I love you more than you'll ever know.

If tomorrow never comes, and all I had left was today...
I'd say everything that I've needed to say.

Yes, as this might not completely fit the topic, I needed a contest to enter this in. I wrote it for a different contest but noticed it was completely wrong but didn't want to change it. So here goes.

Thanks so much! I was really excited when I was writing it, because it was pretty much the best poem I'd written in a LONG time. And I'd made it completely personal too.
So I was pretty excited. (Yeah. I know. I already said that)
