    You've Been Hood-WINKED!

Impressive rhythm! Being a meter and rhyme fanatic, this was a pleasure!

My only real complaint is that it was slightly hard to read on that speckled background.

    It is here

Our snow has just come down hard this month and Its crazy. I love taking the kids out and playing. I enjoy it for the most part. I hate when it gets to cold for us to go out, and then its no fun! I love the imagery, you have describe it in a way I never heard of before. Very creative and it was nicely written. Congrats!

wow. THis is amazing. I want to see snow! You did a beautiful job witht his poems and I noticed that the second and fourth line of every stanza was 6 syllables. And you're right, when you do it that way, it makes it flow so much better! yay! I learned somthing useful!!!! Beautiful poem Grandpa! I love it!

This is beautiful. You described snow and winter in a way that sounds warm and inviting, which often is not the case because although it may be beautiful - it does not feel beautiful.

I live in GA so we don't get snow often. Usually just a sprinkle of ice sometimes. But the whole 'idea' of snow is lovely and one I like to indulge upon from time to time.

The reality of it, of slick roads and power outtages is not one that sounds so inviting.

But anyway, you brought the beauty of the coldness to life here.

My only complaint was that the font was small and hard to see - I have poor vision btw.

    Lovely work!

Umm... you didn't like this? I think we're seeing two different pieces then. Perhaps you need to make an appointment for a stronger pair of glasses?

I agree with Reni, "It's nothing short of amazing, as usual."

Hmm... yep, that basically describes it. Love the background, picture and your table... very lovely.

So this is the poem you said you didn't like all that much.

It's beautiful: the imagery raw, original and vivid; the flow is flawless, as usual; ( the table looks great, too! )

I enjoyed swaying to the soft, smooth flow of this poem, Paul. It's nothing short of amazing, as usual.

This is a good description of a snowing day and the background and picture complement your poem. This feels rather joyous to me and that's a good thing. Good luck in the contest.
