Ode to Daughter/Sister

My tiny Honey dumplin.
My little Dunkydoo.

I remember your Funny little face
with eyes of baby blue.

Tiny you were when I was sixteen.
Love you I did, as though you were mine.
Miss you I did, when I was sent away.

My little Dumplin doo.

Joy - you are to me today.
Fine young women you grew up to be.
Don't ever change my darlin lamb.

Only Daughter - I will ever have.

Author notes

Ok, so I know it doesn't reeealy rhyme, but, its for my baby sister who I raised by myself the first year she was born.  It's for her more than anyone else.

Please tell me what you think
