Feared Unknown

Nothing more for you to say
You've lived you life for this day
This time you must come alone,
Enter now the feared unknown

The sun will rise only to set
We all learn but soon forget
Do you recall the eyes you've met
Or dwell upon your life's regret

No need to tremble and quake
This is it there is no mistake
No time left to hesitate
Your dark chariot awaits

Shadow's quickly they creep
Soon you shall forever sleep
Fear not,thoughts of what's known
Enter now the feared unknown

Nothing more can be done
Darkness has eclipsed the sun

Please tell me what you think

Fear of the unknown is something that stops a lot of us from achieving our goals in life. But u can't live ur life like that can u? If you embrace the unknown thats when you begin to get ahead. Death is not a thing to be feared, rather welcome it and live life to the fullest.

      thanks

thanks for the comment, for i too feel that we shouldn't fear the unknown, although we shouldn't be too adamant about seeking it either. (like one of my hero's Jim Morrison did.) thanks again for the comment. it is much appreciated.

i don't know what has come over me...something has taken a turn inside of me, and i'm not sure if it is a good thing, or a bad thing, but i tell you this, it is going to be one helluva ride.

oddly enough, i don't think i fear this eclipse. it's odd, but i'm not frightened at all. let it come, ready or not, i'll have to deal with it, so i'm ok with it. it's an eerie sort of calm when i think about it that way. and i don't like that feeling at all. i get the feeling i shouldn't be this way. shouldn't i have som efeasr in me? i'm young, at least the myths fed to me should create some sort of a tremor within. nothing does. i think that frightens me.

    ha.

    oh my.

well, on to your poem. i really do like how they're all shaping up. it's wonderful really. you've just gotten this wonderfully wise tone, and i can't help but believe everything you say. you sound centuries old, how can one not believe what you say is full of wisdom and knowledge?

    bravo my friend!

    oodles of love,
    nadia.
