Roaming through the mountain trails
For miles and miles of free
Being the only white mare around
Imagine the sight you see
While searching for excitement
And a mate to be with me
Down from the mountains into the valley
I galloped there with glee
The valley was grassy green
Complete with river of blue
The wind was blowing softly
The sky a sunlit hue
Trees along the riverside
Was an invitation to explore
My heart was pounding rapidly
Getting closer to see more
Within the shadows of the trees
Hidden from the naked view
Stood this magnificent dark horse
Could what I see be true
When I got closer to the spot
He was amazed and surprised
He rolled his eyes And swished his tail
His interest it did rise
He joined me on a nature run
We roamed the valley with glee
Could this be the mate I search
This excitement sets me free
