From the uncertain fringes of twilight,
As hues of every colour show through
To reflect the heart's emotions
Shining bright and true.
The soft pink of happiness and love,
With the blazing crimson of anger,
And the harmonic shades of purple,
Orange's vital energy,
The garish yellow of fear,
Against the envious emerald green,
The greyness of misery with
White's sweet innocence and purity,
The blue of the day - sad to fade away,
Into the blackness of midnight's dark secrets
Where feelings are hidden away
Stored until tommorow to be reborn anew
With the brand new day..
See what you wish to see
Choose the meanings yourself
But you can't deny that
Every facet of imagination is
Reflected in the shades of night.
Author notes
heh - this is quite strange - I might edit it after some people tell me what they think.
