Beyond Twilight's Enticements

Cradled in arms
of blood and lust,
stood something profound

Mannerisms of hearsay billowed
from point to point--silence into
whispers, yet all formalities
of present time; absorbed momentums
trapped seamlessly

While two strangers in
this unquivering embrace
speak in only ways they
can understand--lovers bewitched

Lost to repition, this
tempest-like puppet stared
underneath a graying lunacy
rethinking the bliss easily
shared

I like the bewitching aura surrounding the night here. I think you added extra flavor to the poem with your word choices. Nice work. I appreciate you taking the time and making the effort to enter my contest. Thank you and good luck!
