So Fast

Why does everyone,
move so fast.

Yet she was the one,
who was still stuck in the past.

With everything,
that's happening now.

Why did all this happen,
and more importantly how.

First boyfriend and girlfriend, than a break up,
with all do respect, that's when it should have just come to an end.

But no it wasn't,
they decided to try it again.

That one didn't last long,
but this time the relationship didn't end because of you.

She gave it awhile, got close to a different guy,
but unfortunately she got closer to the same guy to.

Third times the charm,
or at least that's what they all say.

Reminding thoughts still come to her,
even when she lays.

What happened this time,
happened so fast.

She had no idea how to respond,
for she was still stuck in the past.

But she said yes all the same,
and stuck with it too.

Shocking news of the break up,
was that it wan't her to break them up, but you.

She left it alone at that,
because she sure as hell was going to wait awile before taking him back.

But that night it all happened,
unfortunately self-control was what she lacked.

The alcohole, the smoking,
it was a blast.

Unfortunately she thought she could trust him,
she never realized that things were moving so fast.
