Behind the clouds
Sunbeams dancing
Around brick walls
Stoned poets sharing thesauruses
Avoiding all work
Searching for their soul
Inside the Sun, within it's glow
Sad eyed girl
Emerald shoes and blackhole clothes
Mouth muscles twitching, fighting a frown
She feels all the galaxy's gravity bringing her down
Arms flailing, another satellite of sorrow in orbit
Broken glass in a ball of gas shall cut my feet
Eyes of dying supernovas, lips of blackest berries - bittersweet
Your tears are killing the fumes that illuminate my world
To taste the sweat and juices of that twisted girl
I will rip the sky with hands of bone
With the secrets that spill I'll build us a home
In the woods, tangled in the roots of an Oak
Spending our days finding new ways to choke
On the happiness blocking the air in our throats
Faces blue with Love

this is so different. your approach and movement of scenes has great flow and your imagery is clear. I love how your lines are so twisted. The last line is definitely my favorite. Thanks for commenting on my poem.

Very good...This is a really interesting take. I liked
"Searching for their soul
Inside the Sun, within it's glow".
