I invented them single handedly.
Wrote the rules of failing,
and this hope-for-destruction
is getting
a little out of hand.
I won't stick around much longer, don't worry
because
the closer you are, the more it hurts
and I'm so,
so sick
of being hurt.
Hurt over nothing.
(hurt over everything.)
You gasp that I'm
so beautiful,
but who could love an ashtray?
this is how
I reclaim
my insides, and zip them back up
into
where they belong.
