Your faith is fading, becoming small
In this race you’re nearing the end
The wounds you inflict you cannot mend

No one sees us as emblematic
The loss of religion becomes dramatic
With no known definition of hell or sin

This pretty much is the way life goes in the society we happen to live in, thus the twenty first century is a pretty dark, unfaithful, unforgiving place to be in. The demons indeed I expect will be laughing at our stupidity, as we do nothing to stop it. I believe the world could be heaven or hell, but we make it what it is... That is totally and utterly true, but nobody tries.

im soryr but this is terrible. you dont write a peom jsut to be dark you emo weirdo. I mean parts seem like someone talented wrote but im going to have to give this a 1/100 you tried your best though. even thouhg that wasnt good enough dont be afraid to keep trying. just dont enter any contests. -
