You search, and search,
but never find.
The one you loved,
but left behing.
You search, and search,
until one day.
You finally give up,
and lie in a bed full of hay.
You turn on the tv,
only to see.
The one you once loved,
but never told.
They had been killed,
and all their things sold.
You realize then,
they will never know.
That you love them still,
but lefted them years ago.

nice twist and a little sad
thanks for your write and for entering its very much appreciated to me , on your 4th line though i am confused with the word ' behing' i have never heard of it before , when i read it i thought it may have been 'behind' at least thats what i saw in it , i realy like the twist that you have in it , it must of took a lot of inspiration from someone you cared about a lot , i think on the last line if you used the word left , instead of lefted it would sound better , it makes it sound like its in the 3rd person , thank you brad...

very sad write. everlasting I suppose. your 4th line from the top has a spelling error. Behing = behind. Thanks for your entry! sad but sometimes thats how love is.

Oh how sad, not ever telling the ones you loved how you felt. And now you can't. I guess if we would just live each day as if it were the last we would not have these regrets. But that is a hard thing to do in this day and age where life is on the fast lane. Love the poem you've done a great job on it
