Why do we fight for love,
if it only leads to war.
All's fair in love and war,
anything goes.
Why are women property,
fought over by jealous men.
All's fair in love and war,
anything goes.
Why do we bring upon ourselves madness,
only to die in the end.
All's fair in love and war,
anything goes.
Why again do we fight for love,
if it only leads to war,
which leads to madness,
and finally death.
All's fair in love and war,
anything goes.

Love is so desirable, and while it's such an amazing feeling to have it be reciprocated, it can lead to such conflict when it is not. In a very simple and elegant way, your poem is great at telling of the possible anguish such desire for love can cause. Me likey!
