The Waiting Place

I am here, I have finally arrived
Trials and tribulations I have survived
This beautiful new world I shall embrace
As my first step to eternity

This is the second poem of yours that I have read, and I am getting even more impressed with you. You have such talent! This write is so short and sweet and to the point. Aside from the shortness, there is such power in this. It fits the picture so well, which is also beautiful. Yet again, great job! I hope to read more!!! ~b*e*e~

I really liked the poem but if you think its ok how about if you put "As my first step to eternity's grace" its totally up to you but i thought it might rhyme a little better if thats what you were going for. Overall, great poem

i read your home page, very compelling. i have been there in that hate and consumed with never letting it go. i know your world in that aspect. dont know the situation, but i know your hate and anger and refusal to let it go. however, as with this well written poem here, you are on your way to a new beginning of self acceptance and in turn, when you reach your point of forgiveness and acceptance, the anger will be forgiven of whomever did you wrong because one day you will realize that you are wasting unwanted energy on those thoughts, which in turns still gives them power over your unhappiness, even tho they could really care less. you are on a good road, and this poem is a great step. lovely inspirational poem. and good luck.

The Waiting Place - sounds kind of like one is near death and is looking forward to reaching heaven. Not sure where this waiting place is though - looks nice in the picture. Short and sweet - rhyme and rhythm well done in these lines. Easy to read as well.
